The hostel is set around a gorgeous garden (sustainably maintained by purifying the hostel’s grey water), with airy communal areas, and various dorms, teepee tents, and private cabins. The brand new “Legacy” project dropped April 24th 2020 and it delivers undeniable hit records from Queens Hip Hop Legend Mr. Cheeks alongside K Chrys & Freaky Kah whom is the son of the late Freaky Tah. Everyone is laid back but still makes an effort to keep the hostel nice and clean and to make all the guests happy.
There’s a large well-kitted kitchen area, with plenty of cubbies & fridge-space for guests’ food, where they host several family meals every week. Lost Boyz is a true labour of love from an international gang who settled in Santa Teresa and have fostered a community of like-minded souls.

The number of people I met who were repeat visitors to Lost Boyz is a real testament to that. They provide a huge healthy breakfast in the morning, which is such a huge plus! The one thing that Santa Teresa could generally improve upon is its unpaved main road, where a daily parade of bikes, trucks & quads kicks up large amounts of dust. making the garden bloom all year around. A multifunctional event space at the end of the garden accommodates amazing daily yoga with the lovely Minna, and various evening activities. I own a CD and an OG US vinyl pressing as well, and this 90s Tapes version sounds better. Felt like home! Dorms, private rooms and glamping do attract different people.
