Experience a renaissance in music, art and fine Italian cuisine at Cibo. 30 years on, still a favourite.Thoroughly recommend this if you like Italian food - a great find!Food with a Sardinian twist was fantastic, ingredients were top notch, tuna and sword fish carpaccio was outstanding as well as the fregola with baby squids. Outrageous rumours initiated over champagne, business deals sealed with a cleansing ale. The fairly frequently changing menu offers a wide choice of inventive dishes that I've not found in any other London based Italian restaurant, and the cooking is of a consistently excellent standard. A regularly changing menu for those who, like me, keep coming back for more along with warm, welcoming, friendly and efficient service makes for a winning formula.

The food is exceptional and the staff always nice, professional and friendly. A menu for the pleasure of the palate based on the taste of the ingredients not the whims of the trend magazines allows the blending of exotic and familiar produce in such a fashion as to hint at a home-cooked meal. I wish there was a place like Cibo in my neighbourhood!Each time I go back to Cibo reminds me why this Holland Park stalwart has remained my favourite 'neighbourhood' Italian. We provide the finest Italian cuisine in a relaxing homely atmosphere, with a distinctive Italian feel of elegance and comfort. Fish is a speciality of the house, so try pasta filled with crab in a special sauce to start, or the octopus, green bean and potato salad. These values are translated and naturally found in his dishes.
Then go for the spaghetti with lobster in its own sauce, although the calves liver is delicious, too. Because we are convinced that gastronomy is more than just cooking, we have this desire to highlight the talents, the passion of the region, the local trades and know-how.
