I was offered lower monthly rates with no contract or cancellation fee, which sounds great but they still messed up my entire contract. I have to change the channel before I throw something at the TV! I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income and to promise me a $300 gift card and then yank it away takes the lowest form of rotting scum. WHAT COMPANY SAYS STUFF LIKE THAT, AT THE TIME I WAS NOT CONCERNED WITH IT BECAUSE I WILL NOT BE MOVING ANYTIME SOON,SO WHEN I RECEIVED MY FIRST BILL IN THE MAIL IT WAS JUST AS THEY SAID IT WOULD BE 59.99 PLUS ALL KINDS OF OTHER TAXES AND FEES...$89 BUCKS LATER I PAID IT. I have had it since 5th march n nothing but issues.I agree and these people they have first so called customer service are a bunch of liars and don't know what the hell they are doing I tried to bundle my direct tv with Internet talk to 3 people it was supposed to be bundled and my TV gets shut off because they didn't pay DIRECTVthey said I find bundledfor a landline and Internetwhen after talking to two people he told me I was bundled with my TVthey are liars and stupid as hellI've like Century Link better than Comcast and a lot cheaper (they are charging what the promised me), BUT I agree their phone service is pathetic. I told him that is "not my problem" and he fired back "it is your problem" He refused to give me his supervisors name (which I now know is Isreal (agent number FOSL006).

Well i have had issues with Centurylinks outside sales contractors, not honouring promo deals etc... and pushing for larger package deals. I had internet service for about 3 months, we moved they never shut the services off and they say I owe $900 for three months of service. I even called the head quarters and David Smith from executive office was a total jerk and did nothing to resolve the problem. I finally got someone with half a brain in billing to admit the charges were ridiculous. Call them up and they explain that the bill had already been paid to Directv so I was still responsible for it, ok I understand and pay the bill. This is only a small list of things I have been through with CL.
