I think the audiobook narrator does great voice work but I ended up upping the speed just to get through the main character's repetitive complaints faster--which, again, I think the book's target audience would find each repeat increasingly funny. This was a charming feminist retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for middle graders (or anyone who enjoys a story well told).
Because she is struggling a bit we tend to read 40 minutes but alternate pages.
