Proudly partnered with the Philadelphia Eagles and devoted to the Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers, Chickie’s & Pete’s is equally famed for its pub grub menu as its hometown loyalty. 12/14/2019. I understand safety, but it was 3 drinks!!!
Was told that's the last one I could have for the night. This wasn't the case for me though. This, original Chickie's and Pete's location is SUCH a contrast to the one on the boulevard...it's like day and night.
Useful 1. So we begin, it was a Thursday night and we were looking for Macs Tavern after a few rolls with the slot machines at Sugar house.
9 photos. He also offered up the best places to see/experience in Philly. Not worth the money. The didn't want to accommodate us in a big table because we were only 4 even though we told him the rest of the people were 10 minutes away. Still, that's not enough for me to lower its rating.
I'd say roughly 2-3 years.
Also, they don't always have as good of a selection of beers as other Chickies. The food was good but when more people came in the service got really slow. And probably won't be returning !Short brown ponytail miserable Bartender !Shes lucky she got one red cent from me as a tip When normally I tip the servers 20 and more not this time !Horrible costumer service, mediocre food.
Other than that, everything is great.
Great place.
The idea always sounds good but the food is below average at best.
Oh and the chocolate bar jar.. you just have to taste it to experience it's greatness. The food here is always good and staff very helpful. Also was in the parx casino one. Don't know why or how but it to me another 3 to 5 minutes to order a plain cheese burger. Unfortunately, not the case. This was earlier today at 4:21pm.
They give you 3 frozen over cooked chicken tenders with no fixings( you have to request blue cheese on the side).
Had 16 people for wedding party. Very disappointing. Was in Philly for the 4th of July and my group and I wanted some real Philly food. Service: Table Service Location: The Cedar Point Chickie’s and Pete’s Sports Bar is located adjacent to the Blue Streak, in the former Game Day Grille location.
"Every time I walked by the windows adorned with the '50s-diner inspired neon signage, I grew more and more eager to give Rachael's a try. It's a great place to bring people who are new to Philly.I was told by the Uber driver to try out the Crab fries at Chickies and Petes, and I was not disappointed. First off, I'm from NC and figured I'd try a (PA) chain while I'm here in PA. Jeff was the bartender and he was AMAZING.
But I did have to give 2 stars bc the crabs were pretty good (not great, but good) . Good food.
Type of Food: Signature menu items such as Philly Cheese Steaks, Lisa’s Blonde Lobster Pie and their legendary Crabfries. There was 4 of us and we were waiting for a group of 8 for a total of twelve. Original Chickies did not disappoint. They have more options on the menu, but unfortunately due to tine constraints, I only had time to try out the fries.
Cool 1. Every time I asked her for something it was as if I was bothering her. It was gross & the clams tasted dirty & gritty.
There’s a Chickie’s and Pete’s stand in all of the Philly sports stadiums, and yes – all they sell is cheese fries. We usually stick to sandwiches, the buffalo chicken cheesteak is very good, the lobster cheesesteak as well. It just was a terrible experience and I will never dine there again.Always a great place to stop in to have a beer and some "crabby fries". No way!
I really would like to think that this was not racist thing but, to us in the middle of the outside dining room at the only table with no umbrella in the beaming hot son.....not to mention that our beverages wasn't cold. Major props to any restaurant that serves challah french toast, so I went with that, and it…""So first thing is first, I'm from Texas and I know my steak.
