Outdoorsman and nature-lovers alike will love the river access of the Inn and proximity to all the great restaurants and atmosphere of Sylva and Dillsboro is also a plus. What you witnessed was the culmination of a 20 minute incident and literal chase of a very loud and unruly dog of a friend which was brought to the Inn and was cause for this flare up. On vacation, we stumbled onto the Dillsboro Inn many years ago on our way from Kentucky to the East Coast That night we sat around the Inn camp fire talking to other guests overlooking a river. My room was well accommodated and was greeted warmly. Staff treated us like family.
