But I'm not completely foreign to sales so I know what's up.Work your ass off, be diligent, stay focused, structure your days, maximize your time, stay relentless, execute proper follow up, make as many contacts a day as possible, out work your peers and competition.Sales is a roller coaster. You can make money, but if that's your only reason, you're not really serving the company OR your customer base. I do not think that it's a bad internship or job, but you must be aware that you will not get paid if you don't sell anything. There are so many resources available to you, including a mentor program. Management isn't very supportive of lower management. I'm not trying to burst your bubble and sales can be very good to get into.
